Albuquerque Basketball Officials Association Scholarship

Purpose: The Albuquerque Basketball Officials Association scholarships to college-bound high school seniors is based on demonstrated academic achievement and an express interest in pursuing a higher education degree.

Criteria: The students eligible for the scholarship must be graduating high school seniors who reside in the NMAA Metro area and intend to continue their education at a four or two-year college or university. Consideration will be given to academic achievement and the student’s community service record. Students should submit a scholarship application on the form provided by the Albuquerque Basketball Officials Association.

Guidelines: Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis, one to a female and male basketball athlete, and disbursed as a one-time payment in August. Payment will be made directly to the student’s account at the university/college they’re attending.

Amount: $500
