The online registration system to register as a basketball official for the 2020-2021 school year is now open!
Your registration is due no later than Tuesday, June 1, 2020. If you have already registered for basketball, please disregard this email.
The registration for all fall and winter sports is actually open so, if you are a multiple sport official, you can register for all sports at this time, if you would like to do so.
Please note if there are changes to the basketball season due to COVID-19, we will make determinations as to registration refunds as those decisions are made by the state and by our Board of Directors. We would like to have officials register by June 1st rather than waiting until the last minute and then having to scramble for next season.
Relative to payment, you can pay online at this time without an issue. If you would like to mail a check, you may also do so at this time. We are having the post office hold our mail and are picking it up from them directly every Monday. Our office is closed until the end of the week as of this moment but we are working remotely and many of us are going into the office once a week as well.
Below please find the link to register as well as an instructional video with details as to the process:
The fee to register is $60 for your first sport (varsity level), $50 for your second sport (varsity level) or $40 for sub-varsity officials (per sport; no late fee for sub-varsity). Please note there is a $2.50 service fee for credit card transactions. This was approved by the NMOA Executive Board and is in line with service fees we pay for the majority of online services these days.
Again, the deadline for basketball registrations is June 1, 2020. If you have any questions about this process, please contact Nate at nate@nmact.org.
